The 1st German-French Conference on Diabetes Research brings together German and French renowned scientists in the field of diabetes to foster the collaboration and exchange of translational diabetes research in France and Germany.
Young scientists - basic researcher or clinicians - are very welcome to join the conference and get involved in the important field of diabetes research. This two-day event will take place in Berlin in the Embassy of France on December 11/12, 2014 and will be accompanied by a networking dinner for all participants on December 11th.
The panel discussion with representatives from academy, politics and industry will be followed by scientific talks on
• Restoration of metabolic and organ function
• Fetal and environmental programming in metabolic diseases
• Beta cell biology
• Immune-islet and adipose tissue cross-talk in diabetes
