Blood samples from the Fr1da study for the early detection of type 1 diabetes in children are now also tested for antibodies against the corona virus SARS-CoV-2. This study is being conducted at the DZD partner Helmholtz Zentrum München under the direction of Prof. Dr. Anette-Gabriele Ziegler.

She explains in the programme BR Gesundheit! EXTRA what findings can be gained from the investigations.
