In the Nov. 16, 2021, TV report, Birkenfeld introduces the INDY gene. INDY stands for "I'm Not Dead Yet". In the future, new drugs should prevent this gene from promoting fat storage in cells. As a result, the body could become less susceptible to diabetes and metabolic syndrome and thus age less quickly.
