Important topics and results:
Strengthening patient participation: A DZD-wide survey of scientists highlighted the opportunities and challenges of patient participation. The CAB emphasized the importance of suitable exchange formats and proposed an interactive participation option on the DZD website.
Election of the spokesperson team: Karin Seyffarth was unanimously re-elected as spokesperson and Hansgünter Bischoff as deputy spokesperson.
Preparation for the DZD evaluation: The CAB will be actively involved in the preparations. The aim is to make the impact of the CAB's work visible using concrete examples.
Focus on prevention studies: Creative ideas were developed in small groups to better address and motivate study participants - from community building and target group-oriented communication to innovative advertising formats. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of appreciation, transparency and tangible added value for participants. The use of podcasts, social media and cooperation with health insurance companies was also discussed.
Study flyers tested in practice: The CAB tested several study flyers and posters for comprehensibility, design and appeal and provided constructive feedback. Key recommendations: clear language, appealing design, focus on added value for participants.
Outlook:
The results of the meeting will be presented to the DZD Clinical Study Board and will be incorporated into the further development of study materials and approaches to study participants.
The next online meeting will take place on June 25, 2025, and a face-to-face meeting is planned for November 20, 2025 in Munich.
