The professor directs the Division IV (Diabetology, Endocrinology, Nephrology) of the Department of Internal Medicine at the University Hospital Tübingen.
The successful candidate will head the Institute of Diabetes Research and Metabolic Diseases of the Helmholtz Zentrum München at Tübingen and take on a leading role in the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD).
