DZD Scientists on 3sat nano: Diabetes Predisposition Can Be Epigenetically Inherited

A predisposition to obesity and diabetes, induced by a faulty diet, can be epigenetically inherited, according to DZD scientists led by Professor Martin Hrabĕ de Angelis and Professor Johannes Beckers of Helmholtz Zentrum München. They demonstrated this on mice in a segment entitled “Inherited Obesity. Faulty Diet Leaves Epigenetic Marks in Sperm and Egg Cells” in the 3sat TV program nano on November 3, 2016.
