Largest American Diabetes Congress Begins

The 73rd Scientific Sessions (2013) of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) will begin on June 21st in Chicago. More than 18,000 diabetes experts from around the world are expected to attend the Sessions, which will take place in the McCormick Place Convention Center until June 25th.


Scientists of the partner institutes of the German Institute for Diabetes Research (DZD) will also present their research results in lectures and posters at the world’s largest diabetes congress.
At the five-day congress, events spanning all diabetes topics will be on the program, including the latest findings regarding type 1 and type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes and pre-diabetes, obesity and other risk factors.
