Prime Minister of Saxony Stanislaw Tillich visited the Diabetes Unit at CRTD

Saxony’s Prime Minister Stanislaw Tillich visited the Center for Regenerative Therapies (CRTD) at the end of May to receive a first-hand update, amongst others, on the progress in diabetes research.


The group leaders of the Paul Langerhans Institute Dresden (PLID), Prof. Ezio Bonifacio, Prof. Stefan Bornstein and PD Dr. Barbara Ludwig, presented him, as well as leading representatives of the TU Dresden, their promising results and discussed its relevance for future therapies.
