Shortly before the beginning of the World Cup Championship Tournament in soccer, Fortuna Düsseldorf soccer team has invited elementary school students participating in the initiative "SMS. Sei schlau. Mach mit. Sei fit." [Be smart. Join in. Be fit.] to a training session in the sports center at Flinger Broich. The training units are led by coaches of the Fortuna junior soccer teams. "Teaching children how to lead a healthy lifestyle is an important social mission for us as a soccer club in the German League. That is why the initiative of the German Diabetes Center "SMS. Sei schlau. Mach mit. Sei fit." means so much," said Sascha Rösler, a former player in the German League. "We are very glad to support Fortuna’s commitment to this initiative, which was launched during the last school year.
