She is honored for her research on "Mechanisms and targeting of regulatory T cells in type 1 diabetes." The international award is endowed with 2,000 US dollars and will be presented at the European Congress of Immunologists (ECI2021) by Prof. Talal Chatila of Harvard Medical School, Boston.
