With its focus areas, the portal addresses both people who already suffer from the metabolic disorder and those who want to prevent it, as well as healthcare professionals who in their work are concerned with diabetes.

The sections 'Living with Diabetes‘ and 'Preventing Diabetes‘ each offer basic information from the fields of medicine and research, which is regularly reviewed by scientists, and reports of personal experiences in various forms. In addition to texts, graphics, videos, podcasts and quizzes are also available. Practical tips such as recipes, contact addresses and tests as well as a glossary "Diabetes from A - Z" round off the offer. A database can be used to search for information materials on diabetes prevention. Much of the content of these two sections is also offered in Turkish, Russian, Polish and English.

The 'Information for Specialists' section offers diabetes counselors as well as pharmacists and PTAs in-depth insights into current research as well as illustrative material for patient discussions, which is also available for download.
A platform for clinical trials and a registry for people interested in participating in a trial are also integrated into the portal.
