DZD Scientists on TV and Radio on World Health Day

This year’s World Health Day on April 7th focused on diabetes. Experts of the DZD were featured both at the kick-off event at the German Diabetes Center (DDZ) in Düsseldorf and also in radio and TV broadcasts.

Professor Michael Roden, board member of the DZD and scientific director of the DDZ, spoke on the Tagesschau news broadcast of the ARD (from minute 12). Dr. Anthony Gavalas of the Paul Langerhans Institute Dresden reported on stem cell research as a new therapeutic approach in MDR AKTUELL, and Professor Stephan Herzig, director of the Institute for Diabetes and Cancer at Helmholtz Zentrum München, gave radio interviews on Bayern 2 and B5.
