Lecture at BMG: "Diabetes in transition: Together for a healthy life!"

Under the motto "The government is inviting", also the Federal Ministry of Health will be opening its doors at Mauerstrasse 29 in Berlin on August 19 and 20. When taking a look behind the scenes, the public can expect, among other things, an information table on the national diabetes information portal diabinfo.de, a diabetes info-mobile and a lecture on the topic „Diabetes im Wandel: Gemeinsam zu einem gesunden Leben!“ ("Diabetes in transition: Together for a healthy life!").

The expert lecture on diabetes will be given by the managing director of the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD), Dr. Astrid Glaser, together with Dr. Martina Plaumann from the Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA). It will take place on Sunday from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. in the visitor center.

At the diabinfo table next to the diabetes info-mobile, adults can test their risk of developing diabetes  type 2 in the next 10 years - on the spot with just a few details - and have the other services offered by the independent and scientifically validated diabetes information portal explained to them.
