From Monday to Friday, the BZgA tweets daily on diabetes prevention. On the first day, there is an introduction to the topic of diabetes including a link to the diabetes risk score of the DZD partner German Institute of Human Nutrition (DIfE) in Potsdam. Possible protective measures are presented in a video. These will be discussed in more detail in the following days. A 6th tweet is planned as a follow-up and will take place 1-2 weeks later. This will again highlight the diabetes risk score.
Under the daily topics nutrition, exercise and mental health, links lead to the corresponding pages of diabinfo.de. The national diabetes information portal is published by the German Center for Diabetes Research together with its partners Helmholtz Zentrum München and the German Diabetes Center in Düsseldorf.
