Prevention of Type 2 Diabetes: BZgA Theme Week on Twitter

This week the Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA) is placing a thematic focus on the prevention of type 2 diabetes. Daily tweets on Twitter point out possible prevention measures. Links are provided to the national diabetes information portal, among others.

From Monday to Friday, the BZgA tweets daily on diabetes prevention. On the first day, there is an introduction to the topic of diabetes including a link to the diabetes risk score of the DZD partner German Institute of Human Nutrition (DIfE) in Potsdam. Possible protective measures are presented in a video. These will be discussed in more detail in the following days. A 6th tweet is planned as a follow-up and will take place 1-2 weeks later. This will again highlight the diabetes risk score.
