The staff members of the head office of the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD) are currently teleworking, i.e. working from home. All staff members can be reached by e-mail or telephone during our regular office hours.

In line with the general measures to contain the corona pandemic, the DZD has cancelled all internal meetings and events with external participants.

DZD Multicenter Studies
The general interruption of the clinical studies of the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD) in the context of the precautionary measures around the coronavirus was terminated at the end of April. The study teams at all sites have resumed operations as far as this is possible under local regulations. If you are participating in one of the DZD studies and have questions, you are welcome to contact representatives of the study team at your study centers by phone. Please use the telephone numbers listed for the respective studies.

     

DHM formula for everyday life
The current epidemic requires particularly responsible action from all of us. Everyone can help to weaken the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19 by following current regulations and recommendations.

  • Keep your distance: Do not shake hands or hug. Avoid large crowds and close contact (at least 1.5 to 2 meters distance).
  • Observe hygiene: Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water for 20 to 30 seconds and observe the cough and sneeze rules.
  • Wearing an everyday mask: Observe the applicable rules for wearing mouth-nose covers in public places. Medical protective masks should be reserved for qualified personnel.
