Important Announcement: Active and Reachable in Times of Corona
The staff members of the head office of the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD) are currently teleworking, i.e. working from home. All staff members can be reached by e-mail or telephone during our regular office hours.
If you would like to contact us by phone, please use our office numbers. Your call will be forwarded. Here you can find the number of the person you want to contact.
In line with the general measures to contain the corona pandemic, the DZD has cancelled all internal meetings and events with external participants.
Dates listed in our event calendar are not marked as cancelled. Depending on the current situation, please contact the organizer for information about events.
On their websites, the DZD partners provide information on how research operations can be maintained during the corona crisis and what current contact options are available.
DZD Multicenter Studies
The general interruption of the clinical studies of the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD) in the context of the precautionary measures around the coronavirus was terminated at the end of April. The study teams at most sites have resumed operations as far as this is possible under local regulations. If you are participating in one of the DZD studies and have questions, you are welcome to contact representatives of the study team at your study centers by phone. Please use the telephone numbers listed for the respective studies.

- Observe hygiene: Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water for 20 to 30 seconds and observe the cough and sneeze rules.
- Wearing an everyday mask: Observe the applicable rules for wearing mouth-nose covers in public places. Medical protective masks should be reserved for qualified personnel.
