The 2^nd DZD Diabetes Research School (DRS14) will take place in Vienna (Stift Klosterneuburg) right before the start of the EASD Annual Meeting.

The School's speakers list includes renowned diabetes scientists who will give exiting insights of the current diabetes research from the role of the brain to the impact of fatty tissue on metabolism.

• The program will start with an evening lecture by
  Jesse Roth (Feinstein Institute, New York, USA)
  The endocrinization of biology and medicine
  on Sunday, September 14, followed by a welcome dinner.

The School will be chaired by Martin Hrabé de Angelis and Hans-Ulrich Häring, members of the DZD executive board.
